What makes an olfactory signature work

Distinctiveness: An olfactory signature stands out from others by its distinctive character. It resembles no other fragrance on the market.

Consistency: The olfactory signature is consistent with the brand's identity, reflecting its values, philosophy, and market positioning.

Memorability: An effective olfactory signature is memorable and leaves a lasting impression on those who experience it, promoting brand recognition.

Evocative: It evokes emotions, memories or experiences that are consistent with the brand's identity. For example, a fragrance might evoke the freshness of the ocean for a beauty brand inspired by nature.

Adaptability: The olfactory signature can be adapted to different environments and contexts, whether in a store, hotel, office, or any other commercial space where the brand is present.

Consistency: A single olfactory signature is used consistently across all points of contact with customers, ensuring a homogeneous sensorial experience.
